Yes we rise and fall, taking in events now you're standing against the wall,
Yeah we rise and fall, me soy no suerte en Habana,
Yeah we rise and fall with our backs against the wall,
Blinded to the bloodstains on the ceiling of the hall,
They don't need no prison or no mass propaganda,
Just sow confusion as a way to command ya,
Well it prints out green but the money runs red,
Controls your mind like a chip in the head,
Multinationals trading on your insecurities,
Landlords put up rent when they say the market's free and you know:
We rise and fall...
Well we rise and fall with our backs against the wall,
Chalk it up to experience, you'll still be standing tall,
They're the ones that's closing down the possibilities,
Take all the power no responsibility,
And it's a fucked up situation and a fucked up belief,
To build yourself up but you can't get no relief,
Who gets to desire is who gets to live as well,
Who gets to choose standing at the gates of hell? Well you know,
We rise and fall...

Chinchilla Death Cult are a genre defying ska band formed in 2018. Each member has a history of playing in bands from the
local music scene, and enjoy creating explosive, high-energy stage shows. The band has an ear for the unusual, with a love of an occasional quirky cover. Expect anything from metal riffs to Latin beats with a bit of everything in between - moulded to fit into a ska shaped box....more

Twenty years later than I would have liked, but hells yes! I stumbled upon "No manners in Ireland" yesterday, cueing the easiest binge buy in a while. This is a nice blend of skillful instrumentalism, great lead voice and good tunes. The old Toasters / Madness / Bosstones fan in me is bouncing off the ceiling again. Thank you for that. You seem to be gathering steam as well. Here's to a long run! raphaelhythlodai
A perfect blend of ska & skater punk, this album has a hard edge to its sound, while still using uplifting undertones as a foundation. There are a few tracks such as "Flip the Switch", which explores a darker sound, or "Scavenger", which has a bit of a jazzy undertone, both breaking things up and making for a nice contrast from the other tracks. "Robot" and "Empathy" both have a more mellow and relaxing sound to them, and the latter makes for a perfect close to the album. Worth a listen. :) VigorousJammer
